Workplace
My Work
- DefenseReady provides users with a single, customizable place to obtain dashboard information, maintain user’s queues, activities and reports. This is the users view into all of DefenseReady information.
Duty Status
- DefenseReady allows users to provide exceptions to their daily duty through the duty status capability. Now users can input their daily schedule conflicts and then route them for approval or viewing through the Duty Status Calendar.
- PERSTEMPO is an overall view of individual deployment time and operations tempo usable by leadership to make resource allocation decisions.
My Data
- This section of DefenseReady provides a user with detailed information about themselves including personal information, communication devices, personal and emergency contacts, foreign travel and requests, awards, evaluation boards, documents, evaluations, pay and many other details.
Workforce
Directory
DefenseReady provides organizations a way to track and manage their communication devices as well as a directory listing of all employee-issued communication devices.
Checklist
- Checklist templates can be used to produce various checklists to assist in managing day-to-day operations.
- Checklists can contain timeliness metrics for individual portions of the checklist and/or the entire checklist. Individual organizations can "own" portions of the same checklist; for example, the S-3 section, and only the S-3, can be responsible for electronically signing off on a checklist item.
Passports
- DefenseReady allows users to track and manage issues relating to passports and visas such as data about the passport itself, its current location, and when it is due back.
- Views and charts can enable users to easily identify personnel who have expiring passports and/or visas of a particular type.
Travel Operations
- Collaboration and Mapping – Promote collaboration among operation participants and provide a visual representation of deployed forces and resources using native integration with SharePoint and web-based mapping services.
- Performance – Allows users to define Strategic Objectives, goals, and track overall indicators to measure whether the organization is currently on target to meet them. A Strategic Objective is made up of one or more Strategic Indicators, overall measures that define success for an area, based on one or more Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). At any point in time, a command can view all of their Objectives and see exactly where they stand in a balanced, unfiltered view.
- Planning – Track all working parts of a Campaign, including its various supporting operations, participants and their roles, event itineraries, and operational objectives and checklists. Every aspect of the supporting operations can be documented to include: individual objectives, itinerary events, passengers for movements, arrivals and departures, facilities utilized, and incidents. At a glance, a unit can get either an overall picture of a Campaign or drill down into the exact steps and objectives that support it.
- Execution – An organization can track the action plans that support its Strategic Objectives. A unit can document exactly which steps need to occur, by when and in what order, milestones within each step, and exactly how far along an action plan or milestone is to completion.
